Pinball is a free online table with real ball physics: gravity pulls, bumpers kick, slingshots throw the ball back into play, and the two flippers are the only thing between you and the drain. Hold the plunger meter for the launch you want, then keep the ball up with the left and right flippers — arrow keys, Z and /, or the two touch pads under the table. Bumpers pay every hit and drop targets pay more, and clearing the whole target bank raises your multiplier and racks the targets again, so a long ball is worth far more than a lucky one. Twelve tables change the layout, the number of balls and the score you need, from a gentle three-bumper warm-up up to a two-ball, four-bumper table where a 26,000 game means finding the multiplier loop and holding it.
How to play Pinball
- The ball starts in the plunger lane on the right. The launch meter sweeps back and forth — press Launch (or the space bar) to fire it with that much power.
- Work the flippers to keep the ball off the drain. On a phone, hold the Left and Right pads below the table; on a keyboard use the arrow keys, or Z and the slash key.
- Bumpers kick the ball away and score on every contact. The purple ones are the main earner on most tables.
- Drop targets are the amber discs at the top. Each one scores once and then stays down.
- Knock down every drop target and your multiplier goes up by one and the whole bank stands back up. That loop is where the big scores come from.
- A drained ball costs you a ball and resets the multiplier. Beat the table's target score before your balls run out to unlock the next table.
Tips
- Do not flip constantly. A flipper that is already raised cannot catch a ball — hold it down and only swing when the ball is close.
- Catch the ball on a resting flipper first, then flip. A controlled shot at the target bank beats a panicked slap that sends the ball straight into the outlane.
- Chase the target bank, not the bumpers. Bumpers give steady points, but clearing all the targets doubles everything you score afterwards.
- The slingshots either side of the flippers score too, and they throw the ball back upfield for free. Bouncing off them is not a wasted moment.
- A soft launch drops the ball into the upper bumpers more often than a full-power one, which tends to fly over them and come straight back down.
FAQ
Is this pinball game free to play?
Yes. It runs entirely in your browser with no download, no account, and no in-game purchases. Table progress and your best score save on your own device.
What are the controls?
On a phone, the Left and Right pads under the table hold each flipper up. On a keyboard, the left and right arrow keys work the flippers, Z and the slash key do the same, and the space bar launches the ball.
How does the multiplier work?
Knocking down every drop target on the table raises your multiplier by one and stands the targets back up. Everything you score after that is multiplied, so a table cleared twice is worth three times as much per hit.
What happens when the ball drains?
You lose one ball, the multiplier resets to one, and the ball is re-parked in the plunger lane for a fresh launch. When the last ball drains the game ends on whatever you scored.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The table is drawn portrait, and the two flipper pads sit under it so the whole game is playable with two thumbs.
