Parkour Dash is a free online parkour game about the moves between the rooftops, not the running along them. The runner never stops, and a single button does everything depending on where you are. On a roof, a tap is a jump across the gap. Jump at a building and keep the button held into it, and the runner runs up the wall and vaults the ledge — every face on the courses is too tall to run up from the ground, so the jump is what gets you high enough. Beside a billboard over a wide gap, hold the button to wall-run along it, sinking slowly, then let go to kick off onto the far roof. Timing is the whole game: a jump off the last half-metre of a roof, or a wall met with the hands already at its ledge, is a perfect move, and every perfect adds flow — top speed — until a mistake takes it all away and sets you back a run-up behind the move you missed. Eight fixed courses, from a first run of plain gaps to a skyline of walls and billboards, each the same every time so it can be learned, with star times set from measured test runners. It plays in the browser with no download, on a keyboard, a mouse or a phone.
How to play Parkour Dash
- Press Play, then Run — or press space or tap the rooftops. The runner sets off and never stops; you control only when it moves.
- On a roof, tap the button (space, W, the up arrow, the pad under the view, or anywhere on the rooftops) to jump. Jump each gap before the edge.
- A higher roof across a gap: keep the button held through the jump. If you come up a little short the runner catches the ledge and pulls up instead of slamming into the wall.
- A building face: jump before it and keep the button held into it, and the runner runs up the wall and vaults the ledge. Every wall on the courses needs that jump — meet the wall high, near the top of the jump.
- A billboard over a wide gap: jump and keep holding. The runner wall-runs along the billboard, keeping its speed and sinking slowly. Let go to kick off it, up and forward, onto the far roof — not too early, and before you run out of billboard.
- A jump off the last half-metre of a roof, or a wall met with the hands already at its ledge, is PERFECT. Each perfect adds one to flow, and flow raises your top speed.
- Miss a move — fall into a gap, slam into a wall, or slip off it — and the runner is set back a run-up behind that move, standing still, with its flow gone.
- Reach the flag. Your time decides the stars: the three star times are shown in the HUD, and one star opens the next course.
Tips
- Jump late, not early. An early jump over a short gap is safe but never perfect; the perfect is the last half-metre before the edge. Learn a course safe first, then start leaving later.
- For a tall wall, jump about a stride and a half before it so you hit it near the top of the jump. Hitting it on the way up or the way down both cost height.
- You do not need to let go between a jump and a wall. Press, and keep holding into the wall — let go before you reach it and the runner slams into it.
- On a billboard, the kick is the move. Let go too soon and you fall short; hang on until the billboard ends and you drop off it. Wait until the far roof is about a jump away.
- When the roof across a gap is higher, hold the jump. A catch costs speed, but a slam costs the whole run-up.
- Flow is worth protecting. Three safe moves beat a risky perfect that ends in a fall, because a fall throws all the flow away as well as the time.
- Watch the strip along the top: it marks every move still to come, gold for walls and blue for billboards.
- Every course is the same every time. If a move keeps catching you out, run the course again and take that one early until you know it.
FAQ
Is Parkour Dash free to play?
Yes. It runs free in your browser with no download, no install and no account, on a computer, tablet or phone.
How do you wall run in Parkour Dash?
Hold the button. Jump at a building and keep holding into it, and the runner runs up the wall and vaults the ledge; hold it through a jump beside a billboard and the runner runs along the billboard. Letting go of a billboard kicks off it onto the next roof.
What is a perfect jump?
A jump taken from the last half-metre of a roof, right at the edge, or a wall met with the hands already at its ledge. Each perfect adds one to your flow, which raises your top speed until you make a mistake.
Why does my runner slam into walls?
You let go of the button before reaching the wall, or never held it. A wall is only run up while the button is held — press to jump, then keep holding into the wall.
Why can I not get up the tall walls?
How high the runner gets depends on how high it meets the wall. Jump about a stride and a half before the wall and keep holding, so the runner hits it near the top of the jump. Run straight into a wall without jumping and it cannot reach the ledge of any wall on the courses.
What happens when you fall?
The runner is set back on the roof it last stood on, a run-up behind the move it missed, standing still, and its flow drops to nothing. There are no lives — the cost of a fall is the time.
How are the star times decided?
By test runners that plan every move and miss their timing by a set amount. Pressing to a steady beat without looking at the course earned no star on any course in testing; a runner whose timing is off by around a tenth of a second earns one star in seven runs out of ten, around 60 milliseconds earns two, and three stars need timing within about 25 milliseconds — the perfects that build speed.
Is it the same course every time?
Yes. Each of the eight courses is fixed, so you can learn it; the same presses at the same moments always give the same run.
Is Parkour Dash like an endless runner?
No. There is no dodging and no lanes, and each course ends at a flag. The whole game is timing one button for three kinds of move — jump, run up the wall, and kick off the billboard — against the clock.
