Privacy Policy

WebGamePlus has no accounts and no game servers. This page explains, in plain English, exactly what is and is not collected when you play.

Last updated:

The short version

  • There are no accounts, so we never ask for your name, email or payment details.
  • Your scores and settings are saved in your own browser, not on our servers.
  • We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which games are played.
  • Third-party advertising may be shown, and those partners may use cookies.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • Questions or requests: contact@webgameplus.com.

The sections below give the full detail. This policy applies to webgameplus.com and every game page on it. "We", "us" and "WebGamePlus" mean the operators of this site.

1. Information we do not collect

WebGamePlus is a static site with no backend, no database and no user accounts. As a direct consequence, we do not collect or hold:

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses.
  • Passwords — there is nothing to log in to.
  • Payment or card details — nothing on the site is for sale.
  • Your game scores, progress or in-game settings (these stay in your browser).
  • Uploaded photos, files, microphone or camera data.

2. Information stored in your own browser

Games save a small amount of data locally using your browser's localStorage, scoped per game. Typically this is your best score or time, which levels you have completed, and your sound on/off preference.

This data never leaves your device and is not readable by us. It is not a cookie and is not sent with network requests. Clearing your browsing data, using private or incognito mode, or switching browser or device removes it permanently — we hold no backup and cannot restore it.

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics (via Firebase, Google LLC) to understand how the site is used — how many people visit, which games are opened, and which pages need work. To do that, Google may process:

  • Pages viewed and the time spent on them.
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address (usually city or country level).
  • Device type, operating system, browser and screen size.
  • The referring site or search engine that brought you here.
  • A randomly generated identifier stored in your browser to distinguish repeat visits.

We view this only in aggregate and cannot use it to identify you personally. Google's handling of the data is governed by its own terms — see Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out entirely with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, an ad blocker, or your browser's tracking protection. The games work normally either way.

4. Advertising

Hosting and development are funded in part by advertising. Where ads are shown, they are delivered by third-party advertising partners rather than by us. Those partners, and the networks they work with, may use cookies, device identifiers or similar technologies to measure ad performance and to show ads they consider relevant, including ads based on your previous browsing.

We do not pass your personal information to advertisers — we have none to pass. Data collected by an advertising partner is governed by that partner's own privacy policy. You can limit personalised advertising through:

  • Your Online Choices (EU) or the DAA opt-out (US).
  • Your browser's cookie and tracking-protection settings.
  • An ad blocker — we do not block or penalise users who run one.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

WebGamePlus sets no cookies of its own. The cookies and identifiers you may find in your browser after visiting come from the third parties described above:

  • Analytics — Google Analytics identifiers, used to count visits and sessions.
  • Advertising — cookies set by advertising partners for measurement and ad selection.

You can delete or block all of them in your browser settings without breaking any game. Note that blocking cookies does not affect localStorage, and clearing localStorage does not affect cookies.

6. Third-party services we load

  • Google Fonts — page typefaces are served from Google's font CDN, so Google receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request.
  • Google Analytics / Firebase — described in section 3.
  • Advertising partners — described in section 4.
  • Our hosting provider — serves the site's files and keeps standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention.

Games themselves make no network calls: once a page has loaded, play is entirely local.

7. Email you send us

If you email contact@webgameplus.com, we necessarily receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you, keep it no longer than needed to resolve the matter, and never add you to a mailing list or sell it.

8. Children's privacy

The catalogue is family friendly: no gore, no gambling with real money, no adult themes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and because there are no accounts there is no registration through which a child could submit it.

Advertising is served by third parties and is not fully under our control, so we recommend that younger children play with adult supervision. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to processing, and — under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California) — to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@webgameplus.com with the subject line Privacy request. We reply within 30 days. In practice, because we hold no account data, there is usually nothing on our side to export or erase — and we will tell you that plainly. Data held by Google or by an advertising partner must be requested from them directly, using the opt-out links above.

10. Data retention and security

We store no personal data of our own, so there is no user database to retain or breach. Analytics data is retained by Google under its default retention settings. The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our host is encrypted in transit.

11. International transfers

Our hosting, analytics and advertising providers operate globally, so the limited data described above may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Those providers rely on their own safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, for such transfers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes — for example if an analytics or advertising provider is added or removed. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be summarised in this section. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

13. Contact
