Tips
- Start with any island whose number equals the number of directions it can reach other islands in — every one of those possible bridges must be drawn (as a double, if there are only one or two directions available and the number is high).
- An island numbered 1 or 2 that only has one reachable neighbor in one direction tells you exactly how many bridges to draw there right away — no guessing needed.
- Corner and edge islands have fewer possible directions than islands in the open middle of the board, so they usually give you the most certain deductions first.
- If drawing a bridge would ever cut an island off from the rest of the archipelago with no other route back, that bridge is wrong — every island has to stay reachable from every other one.
