Triple Tile Match is a free online triple match puzzle. Tiles sit in a scattered, overlapping pile, and tapping one sends it down to a tray of seven slots instead of clearing it straight away. Three identical tiles in the tray pop together and free their slots again — but fill all seven without completing a set and the round is over. Every pile is built to be clearable, so there is always a way through. 12 levels, undo, hint and shuffle, no download and no sign-up.

How to play Triple Tile Match

  1. You start facing a pile of tiles stacked in overlapping layers. Only tiles with nothing covering them can be taken — the rest are dimmed until whatever sits on top of them is gone.
  2. Tap a free tile and it slides into the tray of seven slots below the pile. It does not disappear yet: tiles only clear once three of the same symbol are sitting in the tray together.
  3. As soon as a third matching tile lands, all three pop and give their slots back. Identical tiles are kept side by side in the tray, so a set that is two-thirds done is easy to spot.
  4. Fill all seven slots without completing a set and the round ends, so every tap costs a slot you may need later. Undo returns the last tile to the pile, hint highlights a tile worth taking, and shuffle redeals the symbols still on the board.
  5. Pop three sets quickly in a row to build a combo multiplier, and clear the whole pile to bank a level bonus and unlock the next of the 12 levels.

Tips

  • Look for a symbol with three copies already exposed and take all three back to back. That clears a set using the slots temporarily instead of leaving a lone tile parked in the tray.
  • Never spend your last two slots on a symbol you cannot see a second copy of. Two free slots is the safety margin that lets you finish a set that is already half-collected.
  • Read the pile before you tap. Taking a tile from the top layer often frees three or four tiles beneath it at once, so the tile that opens the most options is usually worth more than the one that is easy to match now.
  • Sets are dealt in neighbourhoods, so when you find one copy of a symbol its partners are usually nearby on the same part of the pile rather than on the far side.
  • Save the shuffle for a genuinely stuck tray. It redeals the symbols still on the pile without touching what you have already collected, which is far more useful once the board has thinned out.

FAQ

Is Triple Tile Match free to play?

Yes. Triple Tile Match is completely free to play online with no download, no account, and no in-game purchases.

Does Triple Tile Match work on mobile?

Yes. The pile and the tray scale to fit your screen and every control is tappable, so it works on phones and tablets as well as on desktop.

How do you play Triple Tile Match?

Tap any tile that is not covered by another tile and it moves into the tray of seven slots below the pile. When three tiles showing the same symbol are in the tray at once they pop and free their slots. Clear every tile off the pile to finish the level.

What happens when the tray fills up?

The round ends. Seven tiles in the tray with no set of three completed means there is nowhere left to put the next tile, so the level has to be replayed — which is why it is worth keeping a couple of slots spare rather than collecting single tiles you cannot match yet.

Can a pile be impossible to clear?

No. Every pile is built by working backwards through a valid clearing order, so a solution always exists that never needs more than three of the seven tray slots at a time. If you do get stuck, that is a slot-management problem rather than an unfair board, and undo, hint and shuffle are there for it.

How is Triple Tile Match different from Mahjong Solitaire?

Mahjong Solitaire clears tiles in pairs the moment you match them, and a tile is playable when its left or right side is open. Here tiles are collected in threes through a seven-slot tray, and a tile is playable whenever nothing overlaps it from above — so the challenge is managing limited tray space rather than reading a layered layout.

How many levels does Triple Tile Match have?

There are 12 levels, growing from an 18-tile starter pile up to 108 tiles across six staggered layers with 12 different symbols in play. Each level unlocks the next, and you can replay any unlocked level at any time.
