Triple Find is a free online triple match game where the difficulty is spotting, not sorting. A pile of overlapping critters sits at random angles across the scene — geese, cats, mushrooms, kites, boots — and you tap three of exactly the same one to pop them. The catch is the decoy: every shape appears in more than one colour variant, and the variant is a small detail like a scarf or a set of spots rather than the whole body. Three geese are not a match if one is wearing a different scarf, and a wrong triple costs four seconds off the clock. Twelve levels go from three plain shapes up to ten shapes in five variants, and every scene is generated so that no critter can ever be completely buried. Runs in the browser with no download and no account.

How to play Triple Find

  1. The scene fills with critters in an overlapping pile, each one turned to a random angle.
  2. Tap three that are exactly the same — same shape and same detail colour — and they pop.
  3. Tap a critter a second time to unselect it, so a mis-tap in a crowded pile costs you nothing.
  4. Wrong threes take four seconds off the clock and break your run, so it pays to check the detail before the third tap.
  5. The bar under the header is the clock. It turns red in the last ten seconds.
  6. Clear every critter before the clock runs out to finish the level.
  7. Two hints per level flash a triple that is genuinely on the board. Using one costs the three-star rating.
  8. Twelve levels build from three shapes in one colour to ten shapes in five, and later scenes always contain at least one shape in two variants.

Tips

  • Look for the detail first, not the silhouette. On the later levels the same critter appears in three colours, and the body is the same in all of them.
  • Work one shape at a time. Sweeping the whole scene for "anything that repeats" is slower than picking a shape and counting how many of it you can see.
  • The pile is deepest in the middle. Critters near the edges are drawn cleanly and are usually the quickest triple to bank.
  • A run of clean triples is worth real points, so when you are unsure it is better to bank an easy triple than to gamble the run on a maybe.
  • The count of triples left is exact. If it says four and you can only see three, one shape is hiding under something near the last one you popped.
  • Save hints for the end. The last two triples are the hardest, because everything easy has already gone and what is left is the decoy pair.
  • Nothing is ever buried. Every critter has an exposed centre by construction, so if you cannot find it you are looking past it, not under something.

FAQ

Is Triple Find free to play?

Yes. It runs in the browser with no download, no sign-up and nothing to buy. All twelve levels are included and unlock in order.

How is this different from Triple Tile Match here?

Triple Tile Match is about ordering: matching is easy, but every tap spends one of seven tray slots, so the question is which tile to take first. This game has no tray at all — three taps and they are gone. The difficulty here is noticing what repeats when everything overlaps and several critters differ by one detail.

How is it different from a hidden object game?

A hidden object game gives you a list and asks you to find those specific things. Here nothing is named. You have to work out for yourself which critters repeat, which is why the decoy colours matter so much.

What counts as a match?

Same shape and same detail colour. A red-scarf goose and a blue-scarf goose are different critters, and picking two of one with a third of the other is a wrong triple.

Can a critter be completely hidden under the pile?

No. Scenes are generated with a minimum distance between centres, which mathematically prevents one critter from covering another one entirely, and the test suite checks it on every level. If you cannot find the last one, it is visible somewhere.

What does a wrong triple cost?

Four seconds and your current run. That is deliberately more than the time a careful look costs, so checking is always the better play.

Do the hints ever point at nothing?

No. A hint reads the board as it stands and flashes three critters that really are a match. You get two per level, and using either one caps the level at two stars.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The scene is square so it fits portrait and landscape equally, and critters are large round tap targets.
