Precision Stop is a free online timing and reflex game: a marker slides back and forth along a track, and you press Stop — by tap, click, or the Space/Enter key — the instant it lands inside the highlighted target zone. Each stop is tiered by how close to dead center you land it, from a Bullseye down to a near-miss on the zone's edge, curling-house style, instead of a flat hit-or-miss. Play instantly in your browser on desktop or mobile, no download or sign-up, through 15 levels that speed up the sweep and shrink the target zone as you go.

How to play Precision Stop

1. Tap Start Round — a marker begins sweeping back and forth along the track toward a highlighted target zone.
2. Press Stop (tap the track, click, or press Space/Enter) the instant the marker is inside the target zone — there is no fixed reaction window, so you choose exactly when to commit.
3. Landing dead center scores a Bullseye (3 points); landing further out scores Good, then Edge; stopping outside the zone entirely scores a Miss worth 0 points.
4. Clear the round's target score across all of the level's trials to unlock the next level, which sweeps faster and shrinks the target zone.

Tips

• Watch the marker complete a full pass before committing — anticipating the zone is more reliable than reacting only after the marker is already inside it, since your tap itself lands a split second late.
• Early levels shrink the target zone well before the sweep gets much faster — use those rounds to train your eye on the zone's edges, not just dead center, since Edge and Good stops still count toward the target score.
• If a level's target score feels out of reach, remember one Bullseye is worth three Edge-tier stops — chasing a couple of perfect stops per round can matter more than playing it safe on every trial.
• Replay a level you barely failed before pushing forward — the 15-level ladder is tuned to be cleared step by step, and a level you can only just clear will get harder to hold onto on the next one.
