Tank Siege 3D is a free browser tank game rendered in real 3D, with no download and no account. You hold one walled arena against endless waves of enemy armour: light grunts that trade shots at range, rapid tanks that rush and hose you down, heavies that fire a three-shell spread, and on every fifth wave a Siege Titan with twin cannons and a mortar that lobs a marked blast onto the ground where you were standing. The hull steers where you drive while the turret tracks your mouse independently, so retreating and shooting are the same movement — the skill of the game is using that split well. Four missiles a wave flatten a cluster, exploding barrels and destructible crates reshape the cover as the fight goes on, and consecutive kills stack a score multiplier. Health, rapid fire and shield drops fall from wrecks. Every arena is generated from its own seed, so each run is a new layout, and your best wave and score are saved on your device.

How to play Tank Siege 3D

  1. Press Play. Drive with W, A, S and D (or the arrow keys) — the tank moves relative to the screen, so W always heads away from the camera.
  2. Aim with the mouse. The turret tracks your cursor on its own, independently of which way the hull is driving, so you can reverse out of trouble while still shooting forward.
  3. Hold the left mouse button to fire the main gun. It has a short cooldown rather than unlimited fire, so aiming still matters.
  4. Press space to launch a missile. You carry four, the rack refills at the start of every wave, and the blast damages everything nearby — including enemies you never hit directly.
  5. On a phone or tablet, drag the stick at the bottom left to drive, hold the round button to fire and tap the arrow button for a missile. The gun locks onto the nearest enemy unless you drag on the arena to choose a target yourself.
  6. Watch the top bar: wave number, enemies left in the wave, score, and missiles in the rack. Your hull integrity is the bar at the bottom of the screen.
  7. Clear every enemy in a wave and the next one rolls in a few seconds later, bigger and tougher. There is no final wave — the run ends when your tank is destroyed.
  8. Every fifth wave adds a Siege Titan with its own health bar. It fires a five-shell spread and lobs mortars: a red ring on the ground marks where the shell will land, and it closes as the shell falls.
  9. Pick up drops from wrecks — a green cross restores 30 hull, an orange cone gives eight seconds of rapid fire, and a blue core gives six seconds of shield that absorbs every hit.
  10. Kill three or more tanks in quick succession and a chain multiplier appears next to your health bar, worth up to four times the points per kill.

Tips

  • Keep moving. Enemy shells are slow enough to sidestep, and a stationary tank is the only target their aim error never misses.
  • Use the hull-and-turret split deliberately: drive away from the pack with the turret still facing it, and you fight the whole wave while opening the range.
  • Rocks are indestructible — they are the only cover that survives the fight. Crates and barrels will not be there in two waves.
  • Shoot barrels rather than tanks when a group bunches up near one. A barrel blast does 45 damage in a nine-unit radius and often kills three grunts at once.
  • A barrel does not care who set it off — stay outside that nine-unit radius before you shoot it, and never pop one you are driving past.
  • Save missiles for clusters or for a heavy. A missile fired at a single grunt wastes the best weapon you have.
  • Your own missile blast does not hurt you, so you can fire it at a tank ramming you point blank.
  • Against a Siege Titan, keep circling. Its turret is slow, its spread is aimed where you were, and standing still inside a mortar ring is the fastest way to lose a run.
  • Leave a health pack on the field when you are at full hull. It stays there for a few seconds and it is worth far more after the next wave hits you.
  • A rapid-fire pickup roughly doubles your rate of fire — spend it on a heavy or on the boss, not on the last grunt of a wave.
  • Chain kills pay: finishing three wounded tanks together is worth more than picking them off one wave apart.

FAQ

Is Tank Siege 3D free to play?

Yes. It runs free in your browser with no download, no install and no account. Your best wave and score are stored on your own device, not on a server.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. On a touch screen the game shows a drive stick at the bottom left and fire and missile buttons at the bottom right, and the gun auto-aims at the nearest enemy so you do not need a second thumb for aiming. Landscape gives you much more of the arena than portrait.

How many waves are there?

There is no last wave. Each one adds more tanks and scales their health, damage and speed, so the run ends when your tank is destroyed. A Siege Titan joins every fifth wave.

What is the Siege Titan?

The boss tank, and the only enemy with its own health bar in the HUD. It has roughly six times a heavy tank's armour, fires a five-shell spread from twin cannons, and lobs mortar shells that land in a marked ring on the ground a couple of seconds later.

How do the missiles work?

Space launches one. You start each wave with four, they explode on whatever they touch, and the blast damages every enemy within eleven units with the damage falling off by distance. Your own tank is immune to your own blast, so firing at something right on top of you is a valid move.

Why did I take damage from a barrel I shot?

Because a barrel blast hits everything inside its radius, including your own tank. Nine units is roughly two tank lengths, so shoot a barrel from range, and use it when enemies are the ones standing next to it.

Do the barrels and crates come back?

No. Crates and exploding barrels are destroyed for the rest of the run, which is why the arena gets progressively more open. Rocks cannot be destroyed at all, so plan your late waves around them.

Is the arena the same every time?

No. Cover is scattered from a fresh seed each run, so the rocks, crates and barrels are laid out differently — but a given run is deterministic, which is how the game stays fair rather than random mid-fight.

How is this different from Tank Battle on this site?

Tank Battle is a flat top-down maze where your shells chew through brick walls and you defend a base. Tank Siege 3D is a 3D arena survival game: no base, no maze, endless waves, mouse aiming independent of the hull, missiles, and a boss tank.
