Bloom Guard Tower Defense is a free browser tower defense game — no download, no sign-up, and it plays with a mouse or a single finger. A winding dirt path crosses a sunny meadow, and waves of bugs march along it toward the glowing Bloom Heart you are protecting. Between waves you spend nectar on three defenders: Sun Slingers fire fast single-target seeds, Frost Blooms chill everything in a small area so it crawls, and Honey Mortars lob splash shots into packed crowds. Every tower upgrades twice, and you can sell one back for 60% of its nectar when you want to rebuild somewhere better. Beetle grunts open the invasion, then sprinting caterpillars, armored rhino bruisers that shrug off small hits, wasp scouts that fly straight over your maze, and a crowned Hornet Queen on waves 10, 15 and 20. Survive all 20 waves and the meadow is saved; every bug that reaches the Heart costs you Bloom HP. Your best score is saved automatically.

How to play Bloom Guard Tower Defense

  1. Press Play, then pick a defender from the row at the bottom — Sun Slinger (60 nectar), Frost Bloom (85) or Honey Mortar (115) — and tap or click any grass tile to plant it. Tiles on the dirt path are blocked, and the highlighted squares show where building is allowed.
  2. Press Start Wave when your defence is ready. Bugs enter from the left edge and follow the path to the Bloom Heart on the right; your towers fire on their own at whichever bug is furthest along the route.
  3. Every bug you destroy pays nectar, and clearing a wave pays a bonus, so spend between waves: tap a planted tower to upgrade it twice for more damage and range, or sell it back for 60% of everything you invested.
  4. Each bug that reaches the Bloom Heart costs Bloom HP — 2 for a rhino bruiser, 5 for the Hornet Queen. Hold all 20 waves to save the meadow; lose all 20 Bloom HP and the run ends. Use the 2× button to speed up a wave you have already got covered.

Tips

  • Towers cover a circle, not a lane, so the two U-turns in the middle of the path are the best real estate on the map — one tower planted inside a bend shoots at the bugs going in, around and back out again.
  • Rhino bruisers subtract 5 damage from every single hit, which guts the Frost Bloom but barely dents a Honey Mortar. Keep at least one upgraded mortar from wave 7 onward and let the frost handle the swarm instead.
  • Wasp scouts ignore the path and fly in a straight line from the spawn mouth to the Bloom Heart, so leave one or two towers near the Heart even when everything else is stacked at the entrance.
  • A Frost Bloom is worth more than its damage suggests: parking one at the start of a long straight keeps the whole group inside your other towers’ range for roughly twice as long.

FAQ

Is Bloom Guard Tower Defense free to play?

Yes. Bloom Guard Tower Defense is completely free to play online with no download, no account, and no in-game purchases.

Does Bloom Guard Tower Defense work on mobile?

Yes. Everything is a single tap: tap a defender card, tap a grass tile to plant it, tap a planted tower to upgrade or sell it. It plays best in landscape, and the same controls work with a mouse on desktop.

How many waves are there, and how do you win?

There are 20 waves. You win by finishing wave 20 with at least 1 Bloom HP left. Bugs get tougher every wave and a Hornet Queen boss arrives on waves 10, 15 and 20, so your score comes from kills, waves cleared, and the Bloom HP you have left at the end.

Which tower should I build first?

Start with two Sun Slingers near the first bend — they are the cheapest way to clear the early beetle waves and they pay for themselves in nectar. Add a Frost Bloom around wave 3 when the fast caterpillars appear, and save up for a Honey Mortar before wave 7 brings the armored rhino bruisers.

Can the flying bugs be blocked?

No. Wasp scouts fly over the meadow in a straight line instead of following the path, so the only way to stop them is to have towers whose range covers that diagonal — especially near the Bloom Heart.
