Nail Salon Studio is a free online nail salon game you can play instantly in your browser, with no download and no account. The client shows you a reference card — five nails, each with a shape, a colour and sometimes a piece of art — and your job is to reproduce it. Copying the picture is the easy half. The half that makes it a game is that a manicure has an order, and this one enforces it nail by nail: file to shape, base coat, colour, art, top coat. Try to paint before the base coat and the game tells you what has to happen first rather than just buzzing at you. What gives that order teeth is what a late step destroys. Repainting a nail buries whatever art was sitting on top of the old colour, so it has to be redone. A top coat seals the nail completely, and the only way back into a sealed nail is remover, which strips it to bare and costs you the whole sequence again — though the shape survives, because filing is physical rather than a coating. Nothing here is timed. There are no customers walking out, no lives and no penalty screens: a wrong tap costs taps, and taps are the entire score. Eight bookings run from five identical rose nails to a bridal set with three shapes, five colours and four different pieces of art, no two nails alike. Every one of them is finishable in exactly par, and the hint will show you the next correct step whenever you want it.

How to play Nail Salon Studio

1. The top hand is the client’s reference — what the finished set has to look like. The hand below it is yours, and it starts bare.
2. Tap one of your nails to select it. Everything on the trolley then applies to that nail only, so you can work them in any order you like.
3. Within a nail the order is fixed: File, then Base Coat, then Colour, then Art if the card asks for it, then Top Coat.
4. Tapping a tool out of order does not cost you anything — the status line tells you which step has to happen first. Blocked tools are dimmed so you can see the sequence at a glance.
5. Filing sets the shape. It only works on a bare nail, so reshaping later means taking the polish off first.
6. Colour needs a base coat under it. Repainting a nail replaces the colour and clears any art on top of it, which is the one rule worth remembering.
7. Art goes on after colour and before the top coat. There is no way to peel art off on its own — repainting the colour is what clears it.
8. Top coat seals the nail. Once sealed, nothing else will apply, and the only way back in is Remover, which strips the nail to bare while leaving the shape you filed.
9. The set is finished the moment all five nails match the card. Par is four taps a nail, or five where the card asks for art, and matching par earns three stars.
10. Hint highlights the nail that needs attention next and the exact tool to use on it. It costs nothing.

Tips

• Do one nail all the way through before starting the next. Half-finishing five nails is how you lose track of which ones still need a base coat.
• Check the card for art before you reach for the top coat. Sealing a nail that still needed a stripe is the single most expensive mistake in the game — remover plus four taps to get back.
• When several nails share a colour, do their base coats and colour in a run. Nothing forces you to finish a nail before switching, and batching the identical steps is easier to keep straight.
• File every nail first on the levels where all five shapes match. It gets the one irreversible-ish step out of the way while the hand is still bare.
• If you painted the wrong colour, just paint the right one straight over it — that is one tap. Remover is only needed once a top coat is on.
• The dimmed tools are a map of the sequence, not an error. If everything except Base Coat is dimmed, that nail is filed and waiting for its base.
• Par assumes no wasted taps at all, so three stars means a clean run. If you have already fumbled a nail, Start Over is often cheaper than finishing at two stars.
