- Cut near the top of the arc. Fruit is almost stationary at its apex, which is the easiest moment to line up a multi-cut.
- Short, deliberate swipes are safer than long ones once bombs appear — a long sweep across the whole screen is exactly what catches a bomb you had not noticed.
- Bombs are dark with a lit fuse, and they are slightly smaller than the fruit. When in doubt, let the whole group go.
- A miss only costs your streak, not your round. Letting one fruit fall to avoid a bomb is almost always the right trade.
- Three stars need a round with no misses at all, so on a replay it is worth chasing the pieces you would normally write off.
